Paul Smeets

ECCE Resaerch Fellow

Paul Smeets is Assistant Professor in Finance at Maastricht University School of Business and Economics. His research focuses on individual investor behavior and in particular on risk and social preferences. He acquired access to a new proprietary individual data set that covers the behavior of investors from January 1992 until June 2010. He also conducted incentivized field experiments with a large number of these investors. He will visit the finance department of UC San Diego in fall 2012.
